Miss you already….

See you on the

other side!

The Government is advising us to do the right thing to beat Coronavirus. We are 100% behind doing whatever it takes to support our NHS and protect lives. We are still excited about the prospect of continuing to serve our communities, adding take-aways and village shops to our businesses – but for now, we think it is best to listen, cease all activities and give our teams the best chance of re-opening when the world returns to normal.

With a heavy heart we will be closing the side-doors on Chestnut’s pubs and restaurants from the evening of 23/03/20.

This is not goodbye from us… it is see you again soon, where we look forward to celebrating with you at the mother of all opening parties!!

A warm welcome back to our much-loved 17th Century village pub in Woodditton, situated in the picturesque heart of horse racing country near Newmarket.

Following a devastating fire in 2018, we have been working tirelessly to bring this fantastic building back to life ensuring we retain its charm whilst adding a few modern twists and bursts of colour. And, we have been able to add 9 new bedrooms in The Barn – so you can stay even longer!

The result (we hope!) is, a cosy, relaxed setting to kick off your boots, wellies or otherwise - enjoying time with friends and family. We are foodies at heart – so expect to find pub classics as well as a regularly changing menu that focuses on our local access to amazing meats, award winning cheeses and the best Fenland veg.

Our team are excited to get back behind the bar, and in the kitchen and welcome you back to The Three Blackbirds!

Stay in touch! Subscribe to hear all about our latest news, offers and experiences.

Expect to find a regularly changing menu that celebrates our access to artisan local suppliers, complemented by pub classics. Award winning cheeses, Fenland vegetables and home-grown meats are on our doorstep – helping our Chefs stay true to our region.

Vegan dishes and gluten free options will sit alongside hearty Sunday roasts and locally farmed sharing steaks all contributing to the great diversity and seasonality of our region, East Anglia.

Welcome to The Barn – our newly built bedrooms for guests who want to linger for even longer!

Our bedrooms are cosy, yet modern, many with views across the paddocks. They include family and dog-friendly rooms and some with a few extra treats, all with contemporary bathrooms and touches of character.

So why leave so soon?

Wagging tails will always be welcome through our door. So much so, that we have created an overnight stay package and a special dog menu, with your four-legged companion in mind.

Our team members are always on hand with doggy treats and tips for the best dog walks in our area.
