    Yes, we always recommend making a reservation to guarantee yourself a table, reservations can be made via our website or by giving us a call on 01638 592581.

  • Is there parking available for restaurant guests?
    Yes, we have parking at the back of the pub.
  • Are dogs allowed?
    Yes, furry friends are welcome in all areas of our pub.
  • Can you accommodate large groups or parties?

  • Do you have free WIFI?
    Yes, all our pubs have free WIFI you just have to sign in.
  • Is the pub accessible?
    Due to the nature of the historic property, not all spaces are accessible and the entrance to the pub is tight, however we will do our best to accommodate you with an accessible table. However, we do not have an accessible disabled toilet in the pub and only have one fully accessible room on the ground floor.
  • What type of food do you serve?
    Our menus celebrate our access to artisan regional and local suppliers. Award-winning cheeses, local vegetables and home-grown meats are on our doorstep helping our Chefs stay true to our region. Our sample menus can be located here.
  • Do you have vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free options?

  • Do you offer takeout or delivery services?
    No, we don't currently offer takeout or delivery options.
  • Do you have a children's menu?
    Yes, we do. Our sample children’s menu can be found here.
  • Can we eat outdoors?
    Yes, tables for outdoor dining are first come, first seated. If you reserve a table indoors and there is space in the garden when you arrive, we will happily seat you outdoors.
  • What time is check-in and check-out?
    Guests are able to check into our rooms anytime from 3 pm onwards. Standard check-out time is any time before 11 am.
  • Do you offer early check-in or late check-out?
    We try our best to offer early check-in times but please give us at least 48 hours’ notice if you plan to arrive before 3 pm. There will also be a potential additional cost, for more information please contact a member of our team. Late check-out options are also available at an additional cost, for more information please contact a member of our team.
  • Is breakfast included in the room rate?
    If you book directly with us breakfast is included. However, if you book with a 3rd party this may not be the case. Please check your confirmation email to avoid disappointment.
  • What amenities do you provide in the rooms? (e.g., Wi-Fi, toiletries, etc.)
    All our rooms have access to free WIFI and complimentary Bramley Bathroom products to use throughout your stay.
  • Do you offer room service? What are the hours?
    No, we don’t offer room service in any of our rooms.
  • Is parking available? Is it free or is there a charge?
    Yes, we have parking at the back of the pub.
  • Are dogs allowed? Is there an additional fee?

    Waitrose & Partners, Newmarket is an 11-minute drive away and Tesco Extra, Newmarket is a 14-minute drive away.
  • Do you have a restaurant on-site? What are the opening hours?
    There is a restaurant on-site which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our kitchen opening times can be located here.
