Welcome to The Barn – our nine, newly built bedrooms for guests who want to stay a little longer!
They include family and dog-friendly rooms, a fully accessible bedroom with car parking space and one with a few fancy features!
All rooms come with super king size beds with Harrison Spinks mattresses, 32 inch flat screen TVs, super-fast WIFI and tea and coffee facilities. The bathrooms are contemporary in feel and include rainfall showers.
Bathroom amenities include hand and body wash, lotion, shampoo and conditioner from Connock England. The Verdant fragrance collection was created for our guests and inspired by the countryside in our region.
For guests with electric vehicles, we have two electric charging points.
JUNIPER
BEST ROOM
Juniper is our ground floor, fully accessible bedroom with a car parking bay just outside. The super king bed in this room can be twinned.
The en-suite includes a fully accessible rainfall shower.
This is a dog friendly room.

BEST ROOM
Elderberry is on the ground floor, it is our largest room with a few fancy features, such as a ‘love seat’ (that’s a comfy sofa). Perfect for special occasions.
The en-suite includes a bath with a rainfall shower over the tub.

Rosehip is our ground floor, family bedroom with a king sized bed that can be twinned and a Hypnosa sofa bed.

DAMSON, SLOE & BLACKBERRY
BETTER ROOMS
One flight of external stairs lead to our three paddock view rooms. Damson, Sloe and Blackberry have an unspoilt view over our neighbouring paddocks and enjoy oodles of natural light.
Each en-suite includes a rainfall shower.

BRAMBLE, HAWTHORN & BLACKTHORN
GOOD ROOMS
These are ground floor bedrooms tucked underneath the paddock view rooms. They look out over our landscaped courtyard, a sun trap from spring to autumn.
The super king size bed in Bramble can be twinned. Bramble, Hawthorn and Blackthorn en-suites each includes a rainfall shower and double sink.
These rooms are dog friendly.

CONNOCK ENGLAND
In our bedrooms and communal spaces, we have worked closely with our fragrance partner, Connock England, to create a scent that evokes a sense of place.

The Verdant fragrance collection was created for our guests and inspired by the countryside in our region. It is a fresh, green fragrance crafted using a vibrant blend of essential oils to capture the essence of the place we call home.
​
Verdant has notes of blackcurrant, English rose and fig that are layered with uplifting citrus, eucalyptus and peppermint, with grounding undertones of sandalwood and amber adding warmth and depth.

Do I need to make a reservation?Yes, we always recommend making a reservation to guarantee yourself a table, reservations can be made via our website or by giving us a call on 01638 592581.

Is there parking available for restaurant guests?Yes, we have parking at the back of the pub.

Are dogs allowed?Yes, furry friends are welcome in all areas of our pub.

Do you have free WIFI?Yes, all our pubs have free WIFI you just have to sign in.

Is the pub accessible?Due to the nature of the historic property, not all spaces are accessible and the entrance to the pub is tight, however we will do our best to accommodate you with an accessible table. However, we do not have an accessible disabled toilet in the pub and only have one fully accessible room on the ground floor.

What type of food do you serve?Our menus celebrate our access to artisan regional and local suppliers. Award-winning cheeses, local vegetables and home-grown meats are on our doorstep helping our Chefs stay true to our region. Our sample menus can be located here.

Can we eat outdoors?Yes, tables for outdoor dining are first come, first seated. If you reserve a table indoors and there is space in the garden when you arrive, we will happily seat you outdoors.
